The Best Things I Ate at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen
Including pictures, links to buy, why these products are worth every penny (Grand Tasting edition)
For those who aren’t following me on Instagram (which you should be, if you aren’t), I posted a LOT of pictures in my stories a few weeks ago when I was in Aspen for the Food & Wine Classic. This once-a-year event is where all the heavy hitters of the food, wine, and beverage world gather to network and eat and drink compulsively. I guess my world in food and beverage journalism has reached a new height because I was invited to join this event for free and even hosted by a gorgeous hotel a few miles away from the main events. I went to private dinners/parties with Open Table executives (all of whom, I adore; like, they have such a sweet collection of people working for them), Black culinary giants (like Carla Hall and Marcus Samuelson), and I may have even made my first nemesis!! Yes, I think this famous person genuinely hates my guts and I’m lowkey honored, like…omg…out of everyone here….you hate me??
It’s a long story but it’s kind of impressive to have a famous person hate your guts because you had no idea who they were.
Anyway, enough about the event, let’s get to this food. Everything that I’m sharing is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY.
The logistics
No one is paying me to say this.
No one is sponsoring my thoughts.
I just love good food and drinks, and y’all deserve to spend your money in the best possible way.
Everything that I’m showing is from the grand tasting tents, which are general admission at the Aspen Classic.
This does NOT include anything from my private dinners (that would be a separate newsletter)
Everything that I’m recommending can be bought in the USA.
