Grants for Business Owners, Artists, and Other People who Deserve Free Money
Many of these grants are specifically for Black people but others are for marginalized people, in general
This is going to be a quick-and-dirty download of a bunch of grants that I’ve come across because I’m in the middle of planning a move to Spain, researching two major articles, and running around wineries in South Jersey so here are the grants with a little bit of important info:
If you aren’t following 15percentpledge on Instagram and you’re a Black entrepreneur, you’re missing out massively. HERE is a post full of grants for Black business owners. The first grant in the post just expired today but the others are still open. Look and see which ones you can/should apply for immediately.
The Black Film Space posts various jobs, grants, and opportunities for Black people in major cities around the USA (like LA, NYC, and more). If you’re looking for a job in the creative arts, or is creative adjacent, follow them on Instagram and check out one of their most recent posts HERE.
The Mogul Millenial has three grant opportunities that are still open for applications, one of which is in partnership with the NAACP! This platform is made specifically for Black founders so, if that’s you, check this out literally right now HERE. They also have a post specifically about Black women founders HERE (only two of the deadlines are still open!!). Basically, you need to be following them yesterday.
If you are a marginalized business owner in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas or Los Angeles, you can apply for a special grant funded by Bank of America. It also seems like they have a rolling deadline so you can apply whenever you’re ready! Definitely check it out to know for sure HERE.
Are you a Black women who owns a food business on UberEats? This hyper-specific grant by Black Women in Food is for you AND this program is distributing over $100k in grant money to those who apply and receive the grant! Applications close on Sept 8. Learn more HERE

That’s all for now and here is a picture of a puppy that stole my heart and almost made me do something that I am by no means ready for. I almost adopted her, if you weren’t sure. her name is Lola and she’s currently being fostered. She was also in the process of eating both my shoelaces because she’s teething. God I love her.
