Rockas is located on Calle 38, one of the busiest streets in Playa, one block away from the beach. Initially, I’m put off my eateries in super busy areas because the food tends to be watered down and less appetizing, BUT GIRL.
This restaurant is owned by a Jamaican-Vietnamese couple and their food reflects their relationship. Between the heavy spice of Jamaican food and the light and citrusy flavors of Vietnamese food, everything at this restaurant is worth its weight in pesos. Speaking of which, it’s cash only so make sure to exchange your money before you get here.
